I absolutely love nuts. They are so good and good for you! I especially like nut butters that come in single-serving squeeze pouches because it’s too easy to eat them by the spoonful out of a jar!
That is one of the many reasons why I love Artisana Foods!
Artisana is known for their premium raw ingredients that come in 8 different varieties (Almond, Coconut Butter, Coconut Oil, Cacao Bliss, Walnut w/ Cashew, Pecan w/ Cashew, Macadamia & Cashew). I had requested to setup a review on Artisana Nut Butters. I was more than surprised to receive a box in the mail from Artisana. Not only did I receive two small jars of raw nut butter, but I also got eight small squeeze packets and two of each flavor of Ek-Chok Hazelnut Venezuelan Criollo Cacao. Besides being unheated ingredients, I also love that they contain NO PALM OIL! (Learn why to Say No to Palm Oil here)
I really enjoyed eating the nut butters on fresh apple slices. The cacao bliss was eaten straight from the packet! These individual serving size packets are good on celery, carrots, bell peppers, apples and lots of other combinations.
We couldn’t get enough of the new Ek-Chok products! Not only do they contain high-quality, single sourced Venezuelan Criollo Cacao, but they also are infused with Ayurvedic Herbs. I love getting nutrients in anyway possible, so Ek-Chok is definitely the way to go!
Criollo Cacao is especially nice because it contains natural sugar so he need for added sweetener is greatly reduced.
I put my Ek-Chok in the freezer and peeled away the wrapper and ate like a chocolate bar. Of course, my love for Indian cuisine drew me immediately to the rose, cardamom and licorice varieties.
Naturally, with any kind of nut butter, I like to experiment with making cookies. I made Walnut-Cashew-Cacao Cookies. Then I made a Raw Vegan Coconut Pie using Artisana’s Pecan-Cashew Butter as an ingredient in the crust and Coconut Oil in the pie filling.
Now the part you’ve been waiting for! Garden of Good Eatin’s FIRST giveaway!
I am so glad that you get to be a part of it!

I’d really like to try the Chocolate and Cardamon. Not sure how I’d use it, probably just try it on fresh fruit first.
Sounds good! Cacao covered apple slices. Mmm. ( btw – if you want to win, be sure to enter all mandatory entries )
Very cool. I never saw the single serving pouches before. Thanks for sharing.
